Progress


I had a student come to me after class to tell me that he was back after a three-month break from yoga.  He said he stopped coming because he felt that he wasn’t making any progress, but once he stopped he felt the aging process begin to accelerate and everything started to hurt.  He said now he knows, because he has experienced what I used to tell him – when it appears you are not making progress, you are actually keeping up with the changes in your body.  Yoga is powerful, the progress is gradual, trust that it is there.
