This is for my neighbor who has been walking outside for three months now, and says he feels better than he has in years! So much better that he’s going to stop – and start going to the gym instead. He feels he can get more of a workout on an incline machine. It’s always Yogi’s choice, but for me, outside is always better. I, too, would prefer to walk an incline – such as up and down a mountain for a panoramic view or to find a waterfall, but I do not live close enough to the mountains to do this as regularly as I would like. Maybe my muscles would be harder if I went to the gym, but so would my mind, and my heart, and my spirit. Outside time nourishes me completely – body, mind and spirit.
